EUROPIR® STANDARD board for insulating ceilings, foundations and roofs

EUROPIR® STANDARD boards without cladding are designed for insulating floors and ceilings, as well as attics and flat roofs. Rigid PIR foam boards are characterised by high compressive strength and very low water absorption. This ensures above-average insulation parameters even in rooms with high humidity (floor insulation in bathrooms, saunas, boiler rooms) and in areas particularly exposed to water (foundations, walls, flat roofs).

Boards without rigid PIR foam cladding are designed for insulating floors, ceilings, foundations, attics and flat roofs. EUROPIR® thermal insulation can be successfully used in both residential buildings and public facilities. The high water resistance of EUROPIR® boards ensures that they maintain their exceptional insulation parameters even in rooms with high humidity and in areas particularly exposed to water. In addition, PIR boards have high mechanical strength, are handy and easy to process, which allows them to be easily adapted to different shapes of the insulated surface and does not require the use of specialised equipment.

EUROPIR® boards have the highest A+ classification in terms of their impact on air quality in buildings and can be successfully used wherever people are present. These boards are also recommended as thermal insulation for underfloor heating.

Application in construction:

Single-family and multi-family buildings

Public utility buildings

Commercial premises

Energy-efficient and passive buildings

Historic buildings

Insulation of new buildings

Thermal modernisation

The use of highly insulating PIR boards without cladding, with stable and durable parameters, translates into an effective reduction in energy losses used for heating and cooling rooms and the associated costs.

The exceptionally good lambda value among unclad panels translates into a significantly lower thickness of the insulation layer, lower ceiling load and minimal impact on room height.

Icon

The high mechanical strength of the boards and their resistance to biological and chemical factors contribute to the high effectiveness of insulation over many years and the resistance of EUROPIR® boards to mould, fungi and the growth of other microorganisms.

Icon

The absence of insulation board cladding ensures that the thermal insulation is particularly easy to process and adjust, and that it can be installed quickly and easily without the need for specialised equipment.

EUROPIR® Class A+ insulation means clean air inside insulated rooms and even greater insulation safety for people and animals.

Transport and storage

Insulation board packages should be transported using appropriate, specially adapted means of transport. Packages can be delivered by bulk transport without pallets or packed on pallets.

Recommendations for storage and transport of EUROPIR® thermal insulation boards:

  • the boards should be carried, loaded and unloaded manually in individual packages,
  •  packages delivered on pallets should be carried, loaded and unloaded using appropriate forklift trucks,
  • protect packages and boards from damage, do not throw them,
  • store packages and boards in a dry place,
  • protect the boards from weather conditions,
  • do not place heavy or sharp objects on the boards that could damage them,
  • Dispose of packaging and boards in accordance with local regulations.
  • After unpacking, protect the boards from UV rays, which does not affect their technical parameters but may cause a change in colour.

At every stage of the work, protect the boards from UV rays. Sunlight does not impair the parameters of the boards, but it does cause a change in colour. During the work, use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow health and safety rules.
