EUROPIR® SL sloping boards for terrace and roof insulation

EUROPIR®SL are modular slabs with a single or double-sided slope, manufactured from highly insulating PIR foam. Sloped slabs are used to shape thermal insulation in order to ensure effective drainage of water from terraces, balconies or flat roofs.  They ensure that rainwater is drained to the appropriate point or points, such as roof drains.

EUROPIR®SL are modular slabs with a single or double slope designed for insulating terraces, balconies and flat roofs. Sloped slabs are used to shape the thermal insulation of flat roofs in order to ensure effective drainage of water from the roof surface.  They enable effective drainage of rainwater to the appropriate point or points, such as roof drains.

The appropriate shape and fit of EUROPIR®SL slope panels allows for simple and effective shaping of rainwater runoff. At the same time, made of highly insulating and water-resistant PIR foam, they provide effective protection against heat loss and changing weather conditions for many years.

In addition, at the customer's request, we provide tailor-made solutions – we adjust the dimensions and shapes of the roof panels to a specific project.

Together with EUROPIR® KL fittings, the sloping panels form a modular system for insulating routes, balconies and flat roofs.

Public utility buildings.

Commercial premises.

Energy-efficient and passive buildings.

Insulation of newly constructed buildings.

Thermal modernisation.

Icon

The exceptionally low thermal conductivity coefficient (λ) among unclad panels translates into an effective reduction in energy losses used for heating and cooling rooms and the associated costs.

Icon

Single and double-sided drains ensure effective and simple drainage of rainwater from the roof surface.

Icon

The low water absorption of the insulation guarantees the resistance of EUROPIR® insulation to mould, fungi and the growth of other microorganisms, as well as increased protection against changing weather conditions.

Icon

The durable and rigid PIR foam allows movement on the roof
with minimal risk to the insulation (e.g. during maintenance work).

Transport and storage

Packaging and pallets with boards should be transported using appropriate, designated means of transport.

Recommendations for the storage and transport of EUROPIR® thermal insulation boards:

  • packaging should be carried, loaded and unloaded manually in individual packages,
  • carry out the handling, loading and unloading of packages delivered on pallets using appropriate forklift trucks,
  • protect the products from damage, do not throw them,
  • Store packages and unpackaged fittings in a dry place.
  • protect products from weather conditions,
  • do not place heavy or sharp objects on packages that may cause damage,
  • dispose of packaging and damaged EUROPIR® products and foam waste in accordance with local regulations,
  • after unpacking, protect PIR foam insulation from UV rays. Sunlight does not impair technical parameters, but may cause the product to change colour.

Implementation guidelines.

The boards should be installed in accordance with the recommendations and technology specified in the design. At every stage of the work, the boards should be protected from UV rays. Sunlight does not impair the parameters of PIR foam products, but it does cause them to change colour.
During work, use appropriate personal protective equipment and observe health and safety rules.
